BR 2-09: The Shoemaker and the Elves (Arengo. sue, 2000)


"Who is making all these shoes?" P.13

There is an old shoe shop. It isn't a very good shop. It doesn't make much money. In the morning, they come down. There's a new shoes on the table. The shoemaker says "Magic!" and cries. He puts the shoes in the window. A lady buys the shoes and gives three gold coins. In the next morning, there's two new shoes on the table. The shoemaker says "Magic!" and cries. Whenever shoes are done, shoes are bought and gives many money. At midnight they see two little elves. All night elves work and make some beautiful shoes. They make some clothers for elves. Elves are very glad. "Now it's time for us to go. Because they know. Goodbye, shoemaker. " say the elves. The elves never come back. But now the shoemaker makes good shoes and he warks hard. They are happy.
