Ice Water Challenge

We did Ice Water Challenge on last Sunday.

 

Ice Water Challenge is famous by student in the world through Facebook.

Ice Water challenge is splashing water.

If  I am nominated, I have to splash water or contribute money within 24 hours and nominate other people.

We pass a lot of people this challenge.

Many student enjoy.

 

We dressed amusing figure. It was very fun.

After it, I went to hotspring. I got warmer and relax.

BR 1-12: Tigger Comes to the Forest (Stephen Kenskey, 2002)

What shall we do about poor little Tigger? (P37)
 

Winnie-the-pooh woke up suddenly in the night and listened.

He heard the noise.

It was a noise made by a strange animal.

Pooh opened his door and said "Hallo!"

It was Tigger.

But, Pooh was very sleepy and want to bed.

When he awoke in the morning, the first thing he saw was Tigger looking at himself in the mirror.

 Pooh got out of bed, and began to explain what a mirror was.
He jumped at the end of the tablecloth, pulled it to the ground, and wrapped himself up in it three times.
After a terrible struggle, he got his head into the daylight again.
They sat down to breakfast.

So after breakfast Pooh and Tigger went round to see Piglet.
So by and by they knocked at the door of Piglet's house.
He edged round to the other side of the table.
But Tigger don't like haycorns.

After they had walked and walked, they came to the part of the Forest where Eeyore was.
Tigger don't like thistles.

 Tigger finally eats breakfast.

BR 1-11: More tales of Amanda Pig (Jean Van Leeuwen, 1995)

 

"Maybe I won't get so very big when I grow up. Maybe we will still fit."(P56)

 

Amanda and her brother Oliver get along well.

They played mother and father, They knowed that mother and father is hard work.

Them company came, but Amanda couldn't join cousins.

She discovered cave house which is under the table.

Amanda and Peter enjoyed picnic.

They gave them stuffed a bath and srarted scrubbing, but they was hard dirt.

They poured in some shampoo, and he dropped in the whole bottle by mistake.

Bubbles spilled over the bathtub and cover the floor, and bubbles were creeping out the door and into the hall. Their mother was angry. Finally, They all laughed.

Amanda gave her favorite stuffed, mother and Oliver gave presents to father.

Father was very glad.

She grew up.

BR 1-10: Mr. Putter & Tabby Take the Train (Cynthia Rylant, 1998)

 

 

It would be the best train ride of his life. (P.28)

 



One day Mr. Putter and his cat, Teddy, were cooking some oatmeal when Mrs. Teaberry called.

Mrs. Teaberry said "I have an idea!", but Mr. Putter was not sure he wanted to hear Mrs. Teaberry's idea because her ideas were odd.

But, he asked, she said "We should take a train!".

He loved trains.

When he was a boy, he rode them all the time. He loved the big windows and smooth seats and traveling backwards. But he hadn't been on a train in years.

They are going to go tomorrow and bring them pets.

At station, the ticket woman said "Pet can't go on trains."

One hour later, they went back to the station and bought their tickets.

They packed them pets in them bags.

Mr. putter enjoyed and was so happy he thought he would burst.

BR 1-09 : Little Witch Goes to School ( Deborah Hautzing,1998 )

 

'"Good night," said Mother Witch. "I hope you have lots of bad dreams." But Little Witch had good dreams all night about her wonderful day at school.' ( P48)

 

There were a little witch, She was very bored.

She wanted to go to school, but her mother didn't want her to go school.

Her mother want her to be taught by her aunt Nasty, Grouchy and cousin Dippy.

But they didn't teach anything.

She promised her mother to be bad.

The next morning, she got ready for school.

She used many magic, and her friends and teacher was very surprised.

They played and studied together.

Then it was time to go home, she and her many friends rode a long long broomstick and flew a lot places.

Finally, they landed in her house.

Her mother was angry and her friends were gone.

She was very sad, but she had good dreams all night about her wonderful day at school.

BR 1-08 : Romeo and Juliet ( Wiliam Shakespeare, 1597 )

 

There are two families in Verona.

Some of Lord Montague's and Lord Capulet's servants are fighting and shouting.

The Capulet's house. Lady Capulet, Juliet.

The Montague's house. Romeo.

One day, they met at a party and fell in love.

They had a seacret wedding.

Romeo was banished from Verona and Juliet was very sad.

Father Lawrwnce planed that Juliet take some special medicines and pretended to die. Then she wake up and Romeo go to to meet her, and they run away from Verona.

Father Lawrence wanted to send a message to Romeo in Mantua, but he didn't get massag. And now they have both killed themselves.

Essay 1-03a : My Language Learning Story

Past: 10 years ago (& 5 years ago) 10 years ago when I was 9 years old. I had never learned English. I didn't know about English at all. 5 years ago when I was 14 years ago. I was a junior high school student. I had not studied English before I became a junior high school student. I started to study English and I became to be interested in English. I often sing English song and read short stories. I enjoyed studying English. • Present: Now Now, I am studying English at university. I have many classes about English. For instance, speaking, writing, listening and reading. In speaking class, I talk with my class members in English. I practice speaking skill with English central. I have to get a lot of points. It is very hard for me, but it's of use. In writing class, I have to write blogs and book reviews. I can improve writing skill and reading skill. In reading class, I learn about how to read newspapers in English, and study world's news. It is very interesting. In listening class, I hear world news. I can know about world's occasion. I am busy doing homework, but it useful for me to improve my English skills. I try to do many things to improve my English skills. For example, I will accept a boy as a host family next month, and I will go to Canada to study abroad, home stay and intern next year. I am looking forward to going to Canada. I want to see and do o lot of things. I have many chances, so I try a lot of things for my English skills. I enjoy studying English. • Future: 10 years from now (& 5 years from now) I want to be a flight attendant. English is essential for it. I want to board an airplane that flight in the world as a flight attendant. I want to communicate with many people all over the world, and tell good points of Japan. In the future, English will be more important in the world. I want to use English fluently. I want to go everywhere and know and see a lot of things. In addition, I want my children to study English as possible as early because I think and hear that it is a good learning about language earlier. I want to travel all over the world with my family in the future.

BR 1-07 : Ameria Bedelia ４Mayor ( Herman Parish,1999 )

 

 

 The mayor Thomas promised to cut taxes, but he never does what he says he will do.

Mr. Rogers said "You should run for the mayor's office." , but it was joke.

She dashed out of the kitchen and ran for the mayor's office.

She always does what folks say to do.

It is a great promise to make.

The race for mayor was on.

Ameria Bedelia and Mayor Thomas ran all over town to talk with the voters.

Mr. Rogers gave her many help and plenty of good advice.

 The mayor and Ameria Bederia argued for hours.

 Finally, they became close.

Last is happy ending.

 

I like Ameria Bedelia series.

She is simple and innocence, so she makes me very fun.

BR 1-06: The Magic Porridge Pot ( Rosie Dickins,2007 )

A girl's name is Hannah, she never had enough to eat.

One day, Hannah found some honey in the forest. Then, The woman was carrying an empty pot.

The pot was magical pot.

Hop porridge filled the pot with magic word "Cook pot, cook!".

Then it stopped with magic word "Stop pot, stop!".

The woman gave Hannah it.

Hannah had porridge for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

One evening, a greedy boy saw the pot start to fill with porridge, but he didn't see it stop.

He stole the pot and ran home.

He said the magic word "Cook pot, cook!.", but he didn't know the magic word to stop, so porridge was pouring down the street.

Hannah stopped it and the pot never been stolen.

BR 1-05 : The Three Wishes ( Lesley Sims,2009)

There were Ned and Nad. They were always hungry.

One day, Ned works in field and helped a fairy, so the fairy gave him three wishes.

First wish was having a sausage.

Second wish, the sausage was on the end of Nad's nose.

Final wish, the sausage was off her nose.

Then, they had no wish.

They got only a sausage.

It was so funny.

I thought that they should think more carefully.

BR 1-04 : The Runway Pancake ( Mairi Mackinnon, 2006 )

There was once a familly with 7 children. They were always hungry.

One day, their mother made a pancake, but it runaway because it didn't want to be eaten.

The fox, the gort, the cat, the duck, the rabbit, the dog and all the family ran after it.

Finally, the pancake was eaten by clever pig.

I feel sad for this ending, and I was very surprised.
